The historic Morton Theatre is a popular choice for the performing arts and special events thanks to its charmingly classic ambiance and storied past. The versatile rental space has accommodated comedy shows, dance competitions, plays, concerts, film festivals, lectures, public ceremonies, weddings, and more. Whether you wish to attend a performance or produce your own, the Morton Theatre is a place where you can experience a part of the local history while creating some of your own!

At this time, patrons are not required to wear masks in the Morton Theatre in compliance with Athens-Clarke County’s COVID-19 policy. Individual show capacity will be determined by the event presenter. Staff will continue to monitor COVID-19 conditions.
